Frontiers’ page charges
To help meet the expense of publication, peer-reviewed manuscripts (Research Communications, Reviews, and Concepts and Questions, but not peer-reviewed or regular letters) submitted to Frontiers in Ecology and the Environment after January 1st, 2010, if accepted, will incur page charges of US$75.00 per printed journal page. Where fractions of pages occur at the end of the paper, these will be charged at US$35.00. There will be no additional fee for color photographs and/or figures. Payment will be required when the paper appears on Frontiers e-View. Advance billing is available upon request.
Authors contributing to Special Issues will not be required to pay page charges, since these issues are supported by other funding sources.
